Hal Jordan, as Green Lantern, travels to the planet Oa and is introduced to his personal trainer, Kilowog. The alien still stalks him.
Hal wants to meet another Green Lantern, and his ring obliges by whisking him off to meet Tomar-Re. Tomar-Re tells him a little about the Green Lantern Corps, and takes him to Oa where he learns more, first from The Book, and then from trainer Kilowog.
